Who is Close Widget for?
Your partner, your best friend, your sibling across the country. Close is for people who want to share everyday moments with each other. Each friend has their own conversation and photos.
How does the Home Screen widget work?
Invite someone to Close, then add a Close Widget to your iPhone Home Screen and choose your friend. When they send you a photo, it becomes the latest photo on your widget. iOS controls when widgets refresh, so updates can sometimes take a little while.
Can we react and leave comments?
Yes. Open your conversation in Close to react with an emoji or send a message. Your shared photos stay together in your photo gallery, so you can revisit them later.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Close works on iPhone with Home Screen widgets. If you also have a paired Apple Watch, you can see your friend’s latest photo on your wrist.
When can I get Close?
